"If youre lucky enough to gain entrance past its soon-to-be-infamous front door, Green Door will take your breath away. Not only does the dcor exemplify early-century Parisian elegancevelvet couches, ornate chandeliers and fixtures, framed watercolor portraitsits patrons are also fabulously adorned in their best. Men are often decked in suits, ties and vests; women sport the seasons latest dress shape and towering heels. Its former incarnations, Sideways Lounge and Sterling Steakhouse, were short-lived, but judging from its exclusive door policy and the gasp factor once inside, this concept has a shot at becoming a classic. Dinner or table reservations are the best bet to gaining entry (the food, by the way, consists of crepes and French-Asian tapas). Otherwise, look sophisticated and befriend the doormen."
