Green Business Conference March 21, 2008

Learn how your business can save both money and resources. Industry experts will be on hand to show you how easy and cost effective Green Business practices can be. Attendees will learn simple steps to reduce waste, save energy, conserve water, and prevent pollution in their daily business operations.

The conference will be held March 21, 2008 at Roche Palo Alto, 3431 Hillview Ave., Palo Alto, California. The cost for the half-day conference is $20 per person for pre-registration and $25 per person at the door.

Steps to Greening Your Business – Learn the steps for greening your business from start to finish
The Business Case for Going Green – This panel will feature three representatives from small, medium and large sized businesses who will tell you why it made good business sense for their companies to green their operations.
Key note Address by Iris Harrell of Harrell Remodeling – An inspiring presentation from one woman who really embraced the green challenge
Strategies to further Reduce Waste – Think you’ve reduced your waste as much as possible? Think again! Annette Puskarich with the City of Palo Alto will provide strategies and suggestions to further reduce your waste stream.
Representatives from PG&E and the Santa Clara Valley Water District will give brief presentations on their current rebate programs being offered to commercial customers.
