The Sinfonia keeps it in the family, bringing in Leonid Polonsky, the father of last year's soloist Anna Polonsky, to perform Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in e minor with the orchestra. Mr. Polonsky was the soloist with the Moscow Virtuosi before coming to the United States and becoming the associate principal of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.
These concerts are free and open to the public and children are welcome and encouraged to attend.
