Great Truckee Meadows Community Cleanup April 22, 2006

Too often the sight of litter and illegally dumped trash scars our enjoyment and the beauty of our surroundings. Many of us see this and want to do something. Now we can. Join your friends, neighbors and family for the Great Truckee Meadows Community Cleanup from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday, April 22. From the shores of the Truckee River to the hills above Washoe Valley, volunteers are needed to help clean up our common backyard.

All volunteers will receive a souvenir T-shirt for this first-ever community-wide collaboration and be treated to Krispy Kreme coffee and donuts and an after-party sponsored by Scolari's and Silver Peak immediately following the cleanup.
