From event website:
What: The Lone Star Racing Club and the Colonel’s Army are co-promoting a bike swap meet. Booth space is limited, but both bike shops and individuals can secure a booth to ply their trade. Booth rental includes (1) table and (3) chairs.
There are 4 booth sizes:
10 x 10 for $20 25 of these are available
10 x 20 for $35 4 of these are available
20 x 20 for $50 6 of these are available
20 x 40 for $100 2 of these are available
12:00 Movie Showing: A Sunday in Hell, the 1976 Paris Roubaix classic documentary by Jorgen Leth. Leth utilized 20 cameras to capture the action. Although it’s a dated ‘70’s film, it’s timeless! We have a side meeting room reserved and can seat 30 people on a first come, first served basis.
2:00 Movie Showing: Klunkerz, a 2006 MTB documentary by William Savage. Klunkerz chronicles the dawn of the mountain bike era and includes interviews with several of the Northern California pioneers of the off-road sport, including Ritchey, Fisher, Breeze, Kelly, etc.
Raffle Prizes: Admission to the public is free. Raffle tickets will be on sale for $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00. Hourly drawings will be held to award raffle prizes to those present, with a grand prize set of Mavic wheels to be drawn at the close of the show. The grand prize winner does not have to be present to win.
Where: The Tarrant County Resource Connection is on the south side of Fort Worth on Campus Dr., one exit east of the I-20/I-35w interchange. The Resource Connection is generously allowing our two clubs to hold the swap meet in the gymnasium (in building 2300). So, no matter how ugly the weather, we will be dry and comfy.
