Great Middle-Grade Reading! December 1, 2005

Meet four great writers & illustrators for teens in this fun evening event. Joining us will be JAMES HOWE, presenting Totally Joe, a compelling companion to his groundbreaking novel, The Misfits; MICHAEL BUCKLEY, presenting the first two books in his new Sisters Grimm series, The Fairy-Tale Detectives and The Unusual Suspects, artist (and former Books of Wonder staff member) JASON CHIN, introducing his newest book The Master Spy Handbook by Rain Newcomb; author and illustrator JOAQUIN RAMON HERRERA returns to share Scary, a deliciously creepy collection of strange, yet true (or are they?) stories; and DAVID IVES for his new novel, Scrib. These exciting talents will give a brief talk about their books, answer questions, and then sign copies of all their books. 5-7pm
