Great Lakes & St. Lawrence Cities Initiative Annual Meeting and Conference June 15, 2010

The Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Cities Initiative is a coalition of US and Canadian mayors and other local officials working to advance the protection and restoration of the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River. The Canadian Consulate General in Chicago is one of the sponsors for this year’s meeting with the theme "Greening our Blue Border". Over forty Canadian municipalities are members of this organization and a large number of Canadian mayors and municipal officials will be attending. Canadian Ambassador to the United States, The Honourable Gary Doer, will be participating as the keynote speaker. Additional information on the organization can be found at www.glslcities.org.
