The second installation of the St. Louis Great Debates takes place at the Missouri History Museum at 7 p.m. on January 25. An expert panel hosted by KWMU’s Don Marsh will tackle the question “What is a Winning Strategy for Economic Development in the St. Louis Region?” Kicking off the program, keynote speakers Tim Logan and David Nicklaus will provide an overview of their highly discussed Post-Dispatch series 'Can St. Louis Compete?' Following their presentation, an expert panel including Executive Director Kathleen “Kathy” Osborn, The Regional Business Council, Executive Vice Chancellor for Administration Henry “Hank” Webber, Washington University in St. Louis, and Morgan Stanley Senior Vice President Gilbert “Gil” Bickel, founder of St. Louis Arch Angels, will sit down with Don Marsh to debate the question of the night. The event is free and open to the public, but registration in advance at www.stlurbancorps.org is recommended to assure a seat at the event.
