On Monday 7th July the cream of the UK comedy circuit will assemble once again to take part in the third annual ‘Great Comedy for a Great Cause’ show at The Comedy Store, London in aid of the Charity ‘One Child’.
This yearly event, which has rapidly become one of the must-see dates in the comedy calendar will, as ever, offer comedy fans the chance to see an amazing nine stand-up comedians on the same bill.
This year, the line-up includes television regular Terry Alderton and a glittering array of comedy award winners including Phil Nichol (If.Comedy Award Winner 2006) all Mark Watson (If.Comedy Nominee 2005 and Spirit of the Fringe Winner 2007).
As usual, all of the acts have kindly waived their fee in support of the cause, which helps give children in developing countries a better start in life.
The show will once again be hosted by Indian Comedian and UK comedy circuit regular, Papa CJ, a co-founder of the Charity, who can be seen representing India in NBC’s hit summer series ‘Last Comic Standing’ from May 2008 onwards (UK viewers can see the show on the Paramount Comedy Channel).
Tickets Cost £20 and all proceeds go to the Charity One Child
