The Great Cajun Crawfish Boil is a casual, family-friendly event that features crawfish shipped in live from Louisiana and boiled on-site by an award-winning Louisiana chef. In addition to crawfish, we will also feature chicken and sausage jambalaya, crawfish pasta and hot dogs for the kids. Water, soft drinks and beer(for those 21 and over) are also included in the ticket price.
The crawfish boil will be held at the Ruben Romero Picnic Area in Kiwanis park in Tempe, Arizona. The picnic area has a kids playground, 2 basketball courts, 2 sand volleyball courts and horse shoe pits.
The Great Cajun Crawfish Boil is a joint fundraiser put on by the Cajun Cactus Foundation and the Phoenix chapter of the LSU Alumni Association. The Cajun Cactus Foundation is a 501(c)3 whose mission is to unite Southerners living in the Valley, support Gulf Coast and Phoenix charities, and impart Southern charm, culture and hospitality.
