Jay Garrigan (solo) - Friday, October 24th - opening is Mitch Easters band Gravel Truck (his Lets Active Cover Band) and closing is Athens GA band The Empties - at Snug Harbor in Charlotte, NC.

Gravel Truck is a special Lets Active cover band with Mitch Easter - lead guitar + vocals, Tim Lee - electric bass guitar, Susan Bauer Lee - backing vocals, Chris Garges - drums, Shalini Chatterjee - guitar, keyboards, backing vocals. They play songs from all Lets Active records.

I didnt see a good description of The Empties music online, but I went to their MySpace site and I really like their songs and sound - very retro, authentic 60s rock/pop. Check it out here: http://www.myspace.com/theempties
