RUTLAND, VT (March 2, 2010) – Many non-profit organizations are finding funding for their organization in “questionable” mode this year. Are the funding organizations giving out more or less funding during this trying financial time?
There is no easy answers to these questions. A grant writing overview workshop will be held this spring in Middlebury, Rutland and Manchester to attempt to answer the questions or at least to learn about places to look for grant funding. The workshops are designed for any non-profit organization seeking funding for town or community projects or programs. Besides town office employees, this would include people working in fire & rescue, libraries, schools, arts organizations, and individuals who seek financial help with their own projects or businesses. The workshops are free and given by the Green Mountain National Forest.
Additional information is available by calling Kathleen Diehl, at 747-6709. Please RSVP to the person at that number so sufficient handouts can be made.
