Many non-profit organizations are finding funding for their organization in “questionable” mode this year. Are the funding organizations giving out more or less funding during this trying financial crisis?
There is no easy answer to this question. The Green Mountain National Forest is scheduling several grant writing workshops around Vermont to attempt to answer the question or at least to transfer knowledge about other places to look for grants. The workshops are designed for any non-profit organization seeking funding for town or community projects or programs. Besides town office employees, this would include people working in fire, search & rescue, libraries, schools, arts organizations, and individuals who seek financial help with their own projects or businesses.
