This workshop will give an overview of the funding research process for those seeking grants from foundations, corporations and grant-making public charities. It will also offer tips on how to best identify funding sources for non-profit organizations, highlighting the electronic and print resources available for free use at the Broome County Public Library. The workshop will deal with what a non-profit organization should have in place before it applies for grants, and it will include a demonstration of the Foundation Directory Online, which provides information on more than 91,000 grant-makers and more than a million grant records. There is no charge for this workshop, but registration is required. For more information, please contact the Library’s Information Services Department at 607-778-6451.
