Grand Re-opening, Benbrook VFW March 21, 2009

Benbrook Memorial Post 10429, Veterans of Foreign Wars, is reopening its Post home at 1000 Stevens Drive, in Benbrook Texas. An electrical fire forced us to close our facility last June. All activities requiring the use of our facility including the highly popular 1st Saturday Night Steak Night have been cancelled ever since then.
The Grand Re-opening of Post 10429 will take place with an Open House on 21 March at noon. A flag raising and ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 1 P.M. Reduced price beverages, hamburgers, hot dogs and entertainment will be offered all afternoon. We invite the many members of the public who regularly contribute to our successful steak nights and Veteran/Patriotic programs to visit our refurbished facility on this auspicious occasion.
Additionally we are proud to be able to announce that we will again be offering 14 oz NY Strip steaks with all the trimmings on the 1st Saturday Night each month beginning 4 April from 5:30 PM until 8 PM. Our post home is easy to find: Take US Highway 377 south, direction of Granbury. Turn left just past Texas RM 2871 at the Lake Benbrook sign. The post is located 1 mile on the right side of Stevens drive.
