The Grand Rapids Songwriters Alliance is a support and resource forum for West Mighigan's most talented songwriters.
Four members of this West Michigan cadre perform in a Writer’s Round format. Expect an eclectic blend of original modern folk, country, jazz, blues and rock penned by these local word and songsmiths. They’ll accompany each other in a spirited, one-of-a-kind performance.
Jeff Oxford. GRSA co-founder, guitarist, singer and composer. Neon Graffiti founder & front man. Definitely in touch with his inner folk- rocker.
Tim Perry. GRSA co-founder, lyricist, songwriter, guitar/vocals. Songs of family, love and nature, served with a fine domestic whine.
Roger Brown. Longtime songwriter, guitarist, singer, studio musician. Original member of Stealer’s Wheel. Must check out Roger's picking hand thumbnail!
Dorothy Cooley. Guitarist, vocalist, songwriter. Caledonia’s coffeehouse fixture. Jazz and blues with a sassy, insightful take. Buckle up!
GRSA meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Alpine Avenue Schuler’s Book Store, 6:30 to 9:30 pm. Bring an original song to share. The public is always welcome.
