The season kicks off with our new Film Series sponsored by the Downtown Center Business Improvement District (DCBID). A charming, candid and sometimes hilarious chronicle of NYC public school kids journey into the world of competitive ballroom dancing. A transformative experience - reluctant participants become determined competitors and typical kids become "ladies and gentlemen" as they prepare for a city-wide competition. Our evening opens with live ballroom dancing from Albert Torres? Youth Dance Theatre Company. Presented in Association with Los Angeles Film Festival and Paramount Classics
