Grand Opening Weekend Celebration & Adopt-a-thon May 21, 2011

Fido Fitness Club, a brand new indoor dog park, doggie day care, training and agility location in Woodmere, NY (910 Railroad Avenue, Woodmere, NY 11598 [516] 569-3647, www.FidoFitnessClub.com) are having a “Grand Opening Weekend Celebration and Adoption Event” on Saturday and Sunday, May 21 & May 22, 2011 from 11am to 4pm each day.

This free canine community event is going to be packed full festive, unique and fun activities for dog owners and will feature: pets available for adoption; pet, craft and other vendors; pet photography by a professional pet photographer; raffles; training demos; animal communication and Reiki sessions; book signing from a local pet writer and more! Dog owners in the area are encouraged to come by and tour the new indoor dog park, meet other dog owners in the community and see what Fido Fitness Club has to offer – and maybe even adopt a new four-legged family member. While this event is free to attend, any and all proceeds or donations from the event will go directly to Tavi & Friends (http://www.taviandfriends.org/) a local area non-for-profit animal rescue group.
