Grand Opening of Texas Children's Hospital West Campus: Community Celebration and Children's Festival April 9, 2011

Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus exclaims “Howdy Neighbor” and invites West Houston families to celebrate the grand opening of the community pediatric hospital on Saturday, April 9, 2-5 p.m. A free community festival for all ages, the celebration will be held outdoors on the grounds of West Campus and families will enjoy an afternoon filled with entertainment, food and children’s activities that focus on nature, creativity, adventure, education and wellness.
Making this a true West Houston community event, the festival includes live performances by area students and performing arts centers, Pin Oak Charity Horse Show appearances and Blue Bell ice cream. Other festivities include Radio Disney-sponsored interactive music, face painting, a Mad Science slime booth, inflatable bouncers, an obstacle course, a rock wall, a moon walk, photo booths, a petting zoo, a wild flower garden and much more.
