Grand Opening Of Simsbury Farmers Market June 4, 2009

Opening day at one of Connecticut's largest & most diverse markets, will feature over 40 local vendors, live music and kids crafts. There will be an outstanding variety of organic and/or locally grown greens, early strawberries, artisan breads, baked goods, cheeses, honey, gourmet foods, locally roasted organic coffee, gluten free foods, garden plants, vegetable seedlings, locally made ice cream and kettle corn. Costumed characters Nellie the cow and Willey the Pig will be handing out seed packets and providing photo opportunities.
