Mythologized as blood-sucking creatures that are symbols of Halloween frights, these flying mammals are actually one of the most important animals in the world as part of the pollination process of the world's plants. The new Forests exhibit will feature two of the larger varieties of the many bats around the world, the straw colored bat and the renowned flying fox.
