Grand Opening January 21, 2009

Famous for its “Serious Food at Silly Prices,” Sunflower Farmers Market is set to launch its third Tucson location on Wednesday, January 21, with a huge grand opening celebration for Tucson. Grand opening festivities begin at 6:30 am in front of the store with complimentary breakfast items and a special sunflower garland cutting ceremony. The first 200 customers will receive a FREE reusable shopping bag filled with Sunflower’s healthy groceries, valued at over $50, with any in-store purchase. In addition, the store will give away 5,000 free reusable bags during the first days of business (while supplies last). Customers are encouraged to arrive early, as the line typically forms hours before the store opening at 7am. All throughout the day there will be fun, food and prizes – even activities for the kids!
