Grand Funk Railroad September 15, 2012

A true testament of the staying power of Rock and Roll, Grand Funk Railroad (GFR) continues to influence musicians and sell out venues worldwide, 43 years after landing its first recording contract. The band brings their mega-hits “We’re An American Band,” “I’m Your Captain/Closer To Home,” “Locomotion” and “Some Kind Of Wonderful,” which are still played on classic rock stations today, to The Mahaffey Saturday, September 15, 8pm. Presented by The Mahaffey Theater Foundation, tickets go on sale Friday, June 8, noon.
