What: 10K/5K race (open to runners and walkers) and quarter-mile Cancer Survivors’ Walk
Where: Starting and finishing at main entrance to GCU’s brand new arena on the University’s campus, 3300 W. Camelback Road in Phoenix.
When: 7:30 a.m. to noon, Saturday, March 10; Registration starts at 6:30 a.m.
Registration fees:
Through March 2: $20 for 5K; $30 for 10K
March 3 – March 9: $25 for 5K; $35 for 10K
Race day: $30 for 5K; $40 for 10K
Honorary race-starter: Six-year-old cancer survivor Grace Kostyk.
Race extras: All participants receive an official race t-shirt, goodie bag, access to the health expo and refreshments. The first 500 to register will also receive an aluminum water bottle. Survivors will receive a special gift. Chip timing by Raceplace Events.
Family fun: Jump houses, face painting, balloon animals, arts and crafts table, photo booth and appearances by mascots of Arizona’s professional sports teams.
