Graham Parker's original rock and roll style is rooted in his love of American R&B, country and soul. He started his career in England's 1970's pub rock scene but didn't establish himself as an artist until he assembled Graham Parker & The Rumour and released the critically acclaimed "Howlin' Wind" in 1975. A singer/songwriter, novelist and short story writer, the talented Parker continues to record and perform innovative music. With Chicago's Bloodshot Records since the mid-2000s, Parker recently recorded the acclaimed "Songs of No Consequence" with his occasional back-up band The Figgs.
