Global Positioning System (GPS) units are capable of giving users a lot of information. They have become popular navigational tools for many people. Map functions provide directions to destinations, whether by road or off road. Waypoints or tracking features allow specific places to be stored for future use, such as locating a hunting stand, a brush pile in a lake, a hiking trail and many others.
