GOTV in Wilkes-Barre, PA (Drive for Change: Destination Pennsylvania) November 4, 2008

This battleground area was the one where Senator Obama lost by the largest margin during the primary. Luzerne County went for Kerry by the razor-thin margin of 3% and the McCain campaign mentioned both Luzerne and Lackawanna as the two counties they're counting on to win PA. As such, the stakes could not be higher!
On TUESDAY, ELECTION DAY we will be carpooling at 7:00 am from outside P.S. 234 at 30-15 29th St. in Astoria (N and W to 30th Avenue stop) and returning to the same location by 9:30 pm. We’ll be working with the Obama campaign office to get registered voters to the voting locations or simply reminding them to vote!
