Gospel Recording Artist Ami Rushes July 25, 2011

The next live taping of the Loretta McNary Show, July 25 at 6 pm, will feature gospel recording artist Ami Rushes! She will share her amazing journey with us and perform songs from her latest CD Testify, produced by the multi-talented Kurt Carr! As with all her releases, 10% of the proceeds from the sales of TESTIFY will benefit Save Africa’s Children, a charity founded by her pastor, Bishop Charles E. Blake of the West Angeles Church of God in Christ in Los Angeles, California, which currently provides support to over 160 orphanages throughout sub-Saharan Africa.

Singing many years with Rev. James Cleveland and a longtime member of the predominantly African-American ministry, West Angeles Church of God in Christ, Ami Rushes, a native Californian, hopes that TESTIFY will continue to spread Christ’s good news offering spiritual happiness and hope beyond the listener’s circumstance. “This album is a vehicle for salvation for there is a place in each of the songs to give the listener an opportunity to receive the Lord Jesus as Lord and Savior of their lives,” says Rushes.
