Gorden Campbell Drum Clinic May 23, 2009

Gorden Campbell has worked with a wide variety of artist including current employers, George Duke and Jessica Simpson. Other artists Gorden has worked with include: Earth, Wind & Fire, Mary J. Blige, Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, Whitney Houston, Gerald Albright, Bobby Lyle, Doc Powell, Eric Benet, Kenny Lattimore, Rahsaan Patterson, Tyrese, Avant, Faith Evans, Lalah Hathaway, Kirk Franklin's God's Property, Brownstone, Shai, Silk and SWV to name a few.... He also just finished a tour in December called "Colors of Christmas" which featured En Vogue, James Ingram, Peabo Bryson & Marylin McCoo.

Born in New Haven Conn., Gorden was raised in Newburgh, N.Y. where he began playing at the age of 5 at his grandfather's church. From 4th grade thru college he took formal lessons with some great teachers including the "great" Grady Tate.

Performing in Marching Bands, jazz bands, orchestras, Gospel groups and even singing in chorus, Gorden was able to hone his skills in a variety of musical styles. While keeping busy doing gigs and sessions, Gorden is also working as a producer producing music from gospel to hip hop. 2005 he was featured in Modern Drummer. 2007: Sensational performance ate the Singapore Drumfest.
