Good Mews Animal Fdn Participates in Nationwide Home 4 the Holidays pet adoption campaign December 6, 2008

GOOD MEWS ANIMAL FOUNDATION IS AMONG MORE THAN 2,500 ANIMAL SHELTER ORGANIZATIONS WORKING TOGETHER TO HELP PLACE 1 MILLION PETS INTO LOVING HOMES THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

Good Mews Animal Foundation has joined efforts with 2,500 shelters around the world to participate in the annual PETCO Home 4 the Holidays pet adoption campaign, founded by Helen Woodward Animal Center. Good Mews is participating in the campaign through December 28th, 2008 to help place 1 million pets into homes.
Were proud to be a part of Home 4 the Holidays where we will work towards helping place 1 million animals into homes during the holiday season, said Executive Director, Brianna McKeller. I am extremely excited for Good Mews to reach our own shelter goal of adopting 75 cats and kittens over the holiday season said McKeller.

Good Mews will be extending their adoption hours during Home 4 the Holidays and will be open to the public on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and every Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. In addition, they will also be offering an adoption special during the holiday promotion where two cats or kittens can go home for the adoption fee of one. The adoption counselors here at Good Mews are extremely knowledgeable and will assist families in choosing the perfect kitty for their personalities and lifestyles, said McKeller.

Good Mews Animal Foundation operates a non-profit, no-kill shelter for homeless, abused, and abandoned cats. Located at 736 Johnson Ferry Road, Marietta, GA, the shelter provides a cage-free environment for its residents, offering them comfort and security while assertive adoption programs find them happy, loving homes.
