Maieutic Theatre Works (MTWorks) is pleased to present GOOD LONELY PEOPLE by Carol Carpenter, directed by Diánna Martin, as part of the 2nd Annual Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. GOOD LONELY PEOPLE will play 6 performances at The Robert Moss Theater at 440 Studios (440 Lafayette Street, 3rd Floor) in New York City, from June 4th through the 26th. The production will benefit PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays).
On election night, while the only white democratic family in Bush oil country holds an Obama party, they discover they are split on a California issue that hits close to the core, raising questions about their own sense of "family." Winner Audience Favorite Award at The 2010 National NewBorn Festival.
The production features Barrie Kreinik*, Robin Madel, Maureen O’Boyle, Trip Plymale*, Marvin Starkman*, Misti Tindiglia and Susan Wallack*.
Set design by Julie Griffith, costume design by David Stallings, lighting design & dramaturgy by Cristina Alicea, sound design by Martha Goode. Antonio Miniño & Julie Griffith, are the production stage managers.
