Goochland Farmers Market May 29, 2010

The Goochland Farmers Market is one of Central Virginia’s largest and most authentic farmers markets and was voted one of America’s top 20 farmers markets last year in American Farmland Trust’s “America’s Favorite Farmers Market Contest.” The Market features high quality farm and artisan products, which are sustainably produced. Meet local farmers and artisans and learn about the value of rural character. Pastured poultry, beef, pork, fruits, vegetables, honey, herbs, cut flowers, baked goods, eggs, goat cheese, perennial and annual plants, hanging baskets, handmade clothing and fine arts and crafts are available.

Kids Days are the last Saturday of every month, May through August and each will have a theme. May 29 is Planting Day, June 26 is Physical Fitness Day, July 31 is Overall Day and August 28 is Recycling Day.
