GONN w/The Vultures & The Nevermores January 5, 2008

That infamous "BLACKOUT OF GRETELY" Rhino NUGGETS band from 1966, GONN, will reunite for the first time since their 2005 Cleveland Rock 'n Roll Hall Of Fame appearance to bring in the New Year at the legendary & intimate "OFF BROADWAY" music club in St. Louis, Missouri, on Saturday, January 5, 2008.

As of this writing, GONN will be joined by fave St. Louis rockers THE NEVERMORES, and THE VULTURES, for one set each, and possibly some other guests during the evening.

GONN officially reunited and released their reunion album "Gonn With the Wind" in 1996, toured Europe in 1997 and again in 2001, and capped a short 2004 summer southern US tour with a wild gig in New Orleans. They were inducted into the Iowa Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, alongside The Trashmen, Dee Jay & The Runaways, Bobby Vee, Buddy Holly and others, also in 2004, and appeared at the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland in 2005. The Sundazed 180-gram LP "The Loudest band In Town" is again on store racks, and the long out-of-print Compact Disc "Frenzology - Punks Along The Mississippi" (the complete 60's recordings) should be re-released (with 2 new bonus tracks, live at Malo Eloe in Amsterdam 1997) by St. Louis show time.
