Goldsmiths Holocaust Memorial Evening

Students at Goldsmiths, University of London are contributing to an event to remember the Holocaust and commemorate its victims on 4 February 2008 at 7pm.

The Holocaust Memorial Evening will include:
• A dramatic reading of a section from Primo Levi’s ‘If This Is A Man,’ an account of his time as a prisoner in Auschwitz, read by Goldsmiths drama students.
• A talk and Q&A session by Ruth Louise Barnett, a former Kindertransportee, evacuated to safety as a child.
• A poster / photographic exhibition that will include items from Amnesty International’s ‘Blood Running Like Water’ exhibition highlighting the present crisis in Darfur.
• Singing from Goldsmiths student, Katie Morrice, accompanied by Timothy Gordon Ernest Ruffer on guitar.

The event is free and open to the public.
