An exhibition of fresh works by Australian Artist's Kari Bienert and Josh Honeyman. Kari's colorfield works explore the relationships between color, music, emotions and painting. In my works I attempt to reveal the endless evolving rhythms of patterns and notes found in nature and technology.
Josh's work is a kind of a story - of being young and of being mistaken as much as being misunderstood. Kind of like, folk art meets rock and roll. Its fast and furious and almost about nothing really. At least nothing that is important to the world or to history or art for that matter. Here we have the power of imagination coupled with the ability to simply make things to communicate basic personal themes. That, at least, is the intention...
