Join plant conservation volunteer and botanist Connie Parks to learn about goldenrods and asters. Indoors on Thursday, we will learn major characteristics of the genera, identification techniques, and how to use a dichotomous key. Outdoors on Saturday, we will put our newfound knowledge to work identifying goldenrods and asters in the field and, of course, look at a few other late-summer wildflowers. Registration is required. Call 413-584-3009 for details. See http://www.massaudubon.org/catalog/listing.php?program_code=384-AR10SU1 for more information.
