Golden Plains 2009 March 6, 2009

Golden Plains is an annual festival that started in 2007 as a "sister" festival to the very popular 20 year old annual Meredith Music Festival. It's held at the same venue, and has a similar vibe, however the organisers are trying to talk about it (Golden Plains) in its own right, to give it its own identity, rather than the easy comparison to it's bigger more famous sibling.
Being rather popular means the tickets are released using a ballot system, where you enter a ballot, and if your name's drawn, you can purchase tickets. It has sold out every year that it's run
