CYT of Lafayette will present the musical production of Godspell on Saturday, Nov 7th at 2:00 and 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday, Nov. 8th at 3:00 p.m., at the Bayou Bijou Theater in the UL-Lafayette Student Union. Based on the Gospel according to St. Matthew, Godspell is a groundbreaking and unique reflection on the last days of Christ's life, with a message of kindness, tolerance and love. Christ’s followers treat the audience to well-loved hits, including "Day By Day", "All Good Gifts" and "O Bless the Lord" and biblical parables are transformed into encouraging contemporary lessons. The show runs about 2 hours with one intermission. Recommended for all ages.

CYT (Christian Youth Theater) is a family-oriented organization dedicated to providing entertaining activities centered around the family. CYT strongly believes in setting high standards - mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. CYT is a youth theater company that is committed to training students to put on quality theater with a Judeo-Christian world view.
