This 3 hour hands-on and interactive workshop is designed to acquire more effective goal setting strategies. We will apply the new goal setting techniques step-by-step by practicing on a particular goal. This will not be your typical workshop where you receive a couple of pointers and are then sent on your way without help how to translate them into your real life. In previous workshops attendees have reported how easy the structure of this workshop made it to adopt the new goal setting strategies smoothly to any future goal setting scenarios.
The workshop is based on the principles of Centered Leadership: We will explore how you can set your goals from a centered self. By basing them on your personal values and needs you will learn new ways to set your goals intentionally, purposefully, and in a strategic manner, utilizing needed and appropriate resources.
What you will need to bring to the workshop:
You need to pick a specific goal that you want to use in this workshop to learn the goal setting techniques. The goal can be a professional goal such as: “I want to increase my knowledge of leadership techniques” or “I want to increase the number of clients for my business”, it could be a personal goal such as “I want to go to the gym on a regular basis”. Make sure you pick a goal that you are comfortable sharing with the group as you will do exercises with other attendees.
I encourage you to pick a goal that is not your biggest, most important goal but is of simpler nature. If you pick a goal that carries great importance, it is easy to lose sight of learning the technique itself. The purpose of this workshop is to learn a new technique that you can apply to any other goals, including your own goals, team goals, or business goals.
This workshop will also be an opportunity to meet, network, and exchange ideas and resources with like-minded professionals who are interested in growing their Centered Leadership skills and want to grow professionally and personally.
I am looking forward to seeing you at this workshop!
