Go Red 2009: Healthy Heart Expo February 7, 2009

Doylestown Hospital, The Heart Institute team, The Friends of the Heart Institute, and nutrition and fitness experts from The Lab Fitness + Spa will celebrate heart month at the Montgomery Mall with 'Go Red 2009,' a Healthy Heart Expo. The expo will provide information on hospital services and programs, and will also give visitors an opportunity throughout the event to "Ask the Cardiologist" their most pressing heart-health questions. In addition to Doylestown Hospital cardiologists manning the tables, other Doylestown Hospital Associates and pharmacists will provide information on smoking cessation, diabetes and women and heart disease. Fitness "Professors" from The Lab Fitness + Spa and nutritionists from Healthy Directions at the Health & Wellness Center in Warrington will offer advice to help make 2009 the healthiest year yet. A highlight of the event will be the chance to check out and "test drive" the new 3-D High Definition da Vinci S Surgical System recently acquired by Doylestown Hospital to offer the best in minimally invasive surgery options to its patients. There will also be free give-aways and healthy snacks, and visitors will receive a chance to win several gifts courtesy of Montgomery Mall merchants.
