Dr. Murray received his medical degree from the University of Glasgow, Scotland. He interned at Victoria Hospital, London, ON and then completed a further year of post-graduate training at the University of Michigan, USA, where he was awarded an MS in Physiology. This was followed by three more years of graduate research in Biochemistry at the University of Toronto, Canada, culminating in him being awarded a PhD degree. Dr. Murray is currently Professor (Emeritus) at the University of Toronto and recently as a consultant in carbohydrate biology and biochemistry to the nutritional supplement industry.
