Glorious Gardens Tour May 9, 2010

Glorious Gardens returns to Birmingham Mother's Day weekend, showcasing five residential and two public gardens. The biennual event includes intimate tours of five picturesque, private gardens from across the horticultural spectrum, from sprawling ranch-style estate to quaint English garden. In addition to the residential gardens, guests will also tour Birmingham Southern College's award-winning Southern Environmental Center (SEC) as well as the annual Rose Show at Birmingham Botanical Gardens. Glorious Gardens not only educates visitors about plants, art, gardening and various aspects of landscape design but also benefits our mission to promote public knowledge and appreciation of plants, gardens and the environment. The popular tour allows the public a unique glimpse into gardens that offer tranquility, privacy and clever use of limited space.
