The Global Threads project is hosting an international silent auction, featuring handicrafts made by artisans around the world. All proceed will go back to the international artisans.
Global Threads aims to raise fair trade awareness, while enhancing the market access to talented artisans who face barriers caused by geographic distance, transportation difficulties, and social inequalities, primarily due to poverty in their region. With this purpose, the annual silent auction serves as an outlet for artisans to showcase and sell their work, to increase their business sustainability.
