glenn's first solo disc "this is the wind that blows it out" is in my top 10 solo-guitar records of all time; that's he's been holed up in a house on martha's vineyard for the past year+ working on his sophomore release "against which the sea continually beats", and that said release is finally seeing the light of day is cause for celebration. specifically; a record-release party.

this night will a celebration of all things guitar, including geoff's beautiful grainy guitar drones, lloyd's lap-steel guitar improvisations, my hostile-yet-somehow-pleasing digital guitar drones, and glenn's sublime acoustic guitar ditties. rumors of some sort of collaborative mini-set may just turn out to be true...
