Glendale High School Poetry Contest May 4, 2009

The Glendale Public Library announces a poetry contest in honor of William Benson-- poet, friend, and library colleague--for high school students either from Glendale or attending one its secondary schools

Submit one (1) poem of no more than 40 lines (no restriction on form or topic) no later than May 13 as either a word or PDF document to piscespoet@yahoo.com.

The first place poet will be a featured reader on Sunday, June 7 as well as being published in a chapbook to be distributed at the event. Additional awards will be announced.
