Gleaner Life Insurance Society Presents FREE Screening of “A Christmas Story” Free Screening, Fun Prizes, And Holiday Cheer at the Meadowview Theatre! December 1, 2012

Kankakee, IL – Join Gleaner Life Insurance Society in presenting a FREE holiday showing of the hilarious holiday classic “A Christmas Story” (PG) on Saturday, December 1st, beginning at 10 AM at the Meadowview Theatre, 55 Meadowview Center. In addition to the free movie, Gleaner will be giving away fun prizes to celebrate the holiday season. Gleaner Life Insurance Society will be represented by the local Kankakee Arbor #324 chapter, based in Kankakee, IL.

“A Christmas Story” follows nine-year-old Ralphie Parker, a young boy growing up in the forties who dreams of owning a Red Rider BB gun. He sets out to convince the world this is the perfect gift. But along the way, he runs into opposition from his parents, his teacher and even good 'ol Santa Claus himself! A true slice of a young boy’s story about growing up during this era in the Midwest, “A Christmas Story” comes to life at the Meadowview Theatre for this special Christmas event!
