The Wednesday Morning Movie Series at the Paramount Theatre has an even better value than its $1 per person admission fee: it will be FREE! On Wednesday, July 25, 2012, the Paramount Theatre is showing the family-friendly film “The Smurfs” (rated-PG) and admission for moviegoers is free, based on a first come basis. Doors open at 9 a.m. and the movie begins at 10 a.m. The host for the day will be the members of the local Kankakee Arbor #324 chapter of Gleaner Life Insurance Society, based in Kankakee, IL. The Paramount Theatre is located at 213 North Schuyler Avenue.
All are encouraged to come early to meet costume characters and participate in games and other fun activities. And, not only will Gleaner Insurance be giving away some baskets of goodies for prizes, but two lucky moviegoers will also have the chance to win a bike before the movie begins!
