WANDER a little, go to the circus, have a massage, freak out in the tilted disco, take tea with Buddhist monks, visit the Sacred Space and whilst you are there forgive those who frequent only the main stages for they know not what they do. For this - the largest Greenfield music and arts festival in the world, with a plethora of humanitarian and environmental objectives, is no ordinary festival. This is Glastonbury.

Let your travels take you through the Festival Markets where you can purchase those forgotten essentials and find, amongst an assortment of crazy hats and wacky wellies, a flashing cow, the guardian of ‘Late N Live.’

In 2007 Late N Live was the only place to boast performances by current ‘messiahs’ The Courteeners, emerging talent finalists the chart-topping Scouting for Girls and a 2am slot from dance scene masters The Whip. Find the next posse of future stars at close range...

Take shelter from sun or storm, rest your weary bones, enjoy the finest food of the festival and experience a wealth of new music from the official Emerging Talent Competition and beyond.

Sustrans is the UK’s leading sustainable transport charity whose vision is a world in which we all choose to travel in ways that benefit our health and the environment. They work on practical projects that help us to get out and about more and moving around under our own steam.

At Late N Live you will be able to Change Your World by pledging to swap just one car journey in the last week in June to walking, cycling or using public transport. Amazingly if we all did this we would reduce car traffic by a healthy ten percent.

Also back, due to immensely popular demand are family caterers KRO who will be satisfying the most ravenous of carnivores and vegetarians alike, with their well priced selection of breakfasts (only the finest of Danish ingredients find their way to the Kro kitchen), hash browns, baby back ribs, mighty meatballs, falafel, hallumi and salads .

Acts will be introduced by staunch supporter of new music Gerry McLaughlin of Channel M (Sky 203) with his unique brand of Scottish charm. Amongst the musical offerings are Glastonbury Festival Emerging Talent Competition Winners The Travelling Band and Golden Silvers, (both of whom won a place to play The Other Stage), as well as close finalists 28 Costumes, Revere and Swimming along with 2005 winners The Deadbeats in their new guise as Ten Bears.

Gracing the stage are two winners of local Battle of The Bands’ competitions, Melancholy Moose Society for The Somerset Youth Service and 4Fifteen for The Lowland Games plus finalists in MTV’s Unsigned Talent Competition, The Volt.

Furthermore, at 5pm on Friday 27th June Late N Live is privileged to play host to the CLIC Sergant ‘Share a Stage’ competition winners with the critically acclaimed electric violinist Linzi Stoppard - one half of electric violin duo FUSE and daughter-in-law of the celebrated Sir Tom and Dr. Miriam Stoppard. The aim of the Share a Stage competition is to raise awareness for Practice-a-thon, a CLIC Sargent initiative designed to encourage young people to practice their music and raise money for children with cancer.

You may be forgiven for thinking yourself trapped inside the world of The Mighty Boosh as ardent fans might just recognise a few crazy characters from the hit BBC Series in the form of Ralfe Band. Perky indie punksters Orphan Boy bring a more sinister surrealism with their darkly relayed tales of vengeful seaside characters. The Lamacq favourites are hotly tipped by The Fly as Ones To Watch ‘…verrrrrry closely. They should be huge.’ Step inside the critically acclaimed world of Bone-Box (The Times LP of the Year, Mojo, Q) with their ‘ghostly gospel of drama and dented dreams’ (bbc.co.uk). Feel the growling sub bass and soaring violins of Light Syndicate, the incredible voice of Kitchenware’s Karima Francis and if you didn’t know the reason behind the enigmatic smile of The Mona Lisa hang around in the early hours of Sunday morning to hear an electronic anthem by the band Keith. Described by Xfm's Dave Berry as "One of the best live bands I have ever seen", Officer Kicks will rock the early hours of Friday morning then that night, wild punksters, Fight Like Apes are to be seen to be believed.

On the decks will be resident (2005,2007) DJ Jay Ellis, The Filth Wizard, Coops, Buff DJ’s, Jay Taylor and XFM’s Jon Ford et al, and we have stunning visual projections by VJ’s Andrew Brooks and Eefee.
