The 'Glass House of Dreams' is an exhibit of photographs and antique post cards celebrating the rebirth and flowering of a Baltimore treasure, the Howard Peters Rawlings Conservatory in Druid Hill Park. Based on the book, 'Glass House of Dreams,' by Margaret Haviland Stansbury, with photographs by David Simpson, the exhibit chronicles the history of glass houses in the United States, celebrates the 150th anniversary of Druid Hill Park, and pays tribute to the Honorable Howard Peters Rawlings. Also included are oversized photographs of the Palm House, the Orchid Room, the Desert House, the Mediterranean House, and the Tropical House, including some of the beautiful plants within.
