This hands-on course covers all the basics of making glass beads for earrings, necklaces, and more. Learn how to take a plate or rod of clear or multicolored glass, apply heat, and, using a wire holder, form beads into any shape and size. Also, learn how to set up a low-cost glass bead-making studio in your home, using readily available materials as your tools. The course meets at the instructor's studio in Scituate. Directions will be mailed shortly after you register.
